Spade Thermocouples

Spade thermocouples are usually used for surface temperature measurement. The stainless steel and fiberglass spade thermocouples are sandwiched between either two thin shims of stainless steel or two pieces of fiberglass tape. They can be attached using a worm-gear hose clamp or by placing under heater bands. These spades can be formed and secured to the outside of various sizes of tubes, pipes or nozzles.
