PTFE-sheathed immersion heaters are compatible with virtually every chemistry and are available in sizes up to 27kW. Through-the-side immersion heaters utilize ANSI standard pipe flanges in a range of diameters to support high tank pressures of liquids. A wide selection of watt densities, heating outputs, flange sizes and ratings make these heaters excellent for all tanks, vats, or irregularly shaped vessels. A choice of NEMA electrical enclosure makes them usable in almost any environment.

All of our standard sizes are available for online ordering and can be configured prior to checkout.

PTFE Flange heaters take 10-15 working days to ship.

If none of our stock flange heaters will work for your application, you can get a fast, easy quote on a built-to-order flange heater using our Built-to-Order Immersion Heater Configurator.

If you have any questions, or if you'd like to talk in person about built-to-order specifications, you can call us at (866) 685-4443 or send us a contact form or an e-mail.

Advantages

Superior chemical resistance Inert to most aqueous acid, anodizing and plating solutions. Check our Sheath Material Lookup to find a sheath material that will work for your process liquid.
Rugged construction Heavy-wall PTFE-covered stainless steel sheath reduces permeation and eliminates the need for gas purge systems. Guaranteed 100% pinhole free. Rated for up to 50 PSI service. Vapor-tight metal head.
Long-lasting performance Low watt densities of 10 W/in² (1.5 W/cm²) ensure long service life.
