Temperature Controllers feature digital displays and selectable inputs. These Temperature Controllers are easy to operate with self tuning and the output can be ordered with a relay contact, voltage pulse, or a 4 to 20 mAmp output.
Temperature Controllers also accept various inputs from thermocouples, RTD, DC voltage and DC current. In addition these controllers can have two independent alarm contacts that are programmable to be deviation, process, or set value alarms.
Alarms can detect Heater Breaks, Thermocouple or RTD failure, short circuits, or the failure of an operating device such as a mechanical relay, SCR controller or SSR relay.
The Heater break alarms utilize an external current transformer that monitors the heater current and activates an alarm should the current fall below a threshold value that has been set by the operator.
