IP Sanitary Connecting RTDs

Our general purpose CIP sanitary connector RTD temperature sensors are used in food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing applications where sensor corrosion and product contamination are critical factors. These sensors meet or exceed finish specifications set forth by the 3A Sanitary Council Standard #09-08.

RTD Elements

Element Options: 2, 3, 4 wire per element construction, single and duplex elements, wire wound or film type elements.

  • Materials: Platinum, Copper, Nickel, Nickel-Iron
  • Values:
    Platinum (100, 200, 500, 1000 ohm)
    Copper (10 ohm)
    Nickel (120 ohm)
    Nickel-Iron (604 ohm)
  • Accuracies:
        Platinum (±0.12%, ±0.1%, ±0.03%, ±0.01% at 0°C)
        All Others (from ±0.2% to ±0.5%)

  • Sheath Materials: 316 Stainless Steel Standard (other materials available)
  • Sheath Diameters: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8" OD's and other fractional or metric sizes

Assembly Options: High or low temperature construction, standard or miniature size plugs and jacks, choice of 8 connecting head materials, leadwire with several choices of insulation, leads with metal overbraid or in flexible armor.
