Flanged Immersion Heaters

Flanged immersion heaters are designed for use in tanks and pressurized vessels, and are one of the most widely-used methods for heating liquids such as water, oil, heat transfer fluid and corrosive solutions. The direct immersion method is energy efficient and easily monitored and controlled.

Through-the-side immersion heaters utilize standard pipe flanges ranging in diameter to support high tank pressures of liquids. A wide selection of watt densities, heating outputs, flange sizes and ratings make this heater excellent for all tanks, vats, or irregularly shaped vessels.

When choosing an immersion heater, it is necessary that the sheath material and watt densities are compatible with the liquid being heated. Installation requires bolting the heater to a matching flange welded to the tank wall or nozzle.
