Bulb and Capillary
This control is operated by expansion and contraction of a liquid in response to temperature change. Liquid contained within the sensing bulb and capillary flexes a diaphragm causing the opening and closing of a switch signaling the thermostat. For heating applications, the contacts are normally closed and open on temperature rise.
Thermostats
Thermostats simply regulate heat so that it remains near the setpoint temperature. This is a very simple way to maintain process at one set temperature.
Thermocouple Input
These non-indicating temperature controllers allow thermocouple inputs to sense the temperature. The product specifications include which type of thermocouple is designed to work with the controller.
