Foil Heaters are often custom-built due to specific shapes, sizes, and cutouts required for an application. This section will describe specifications, construction, and termination styles for foil heaters. Please call or email us for more information, pricing, and lead times.

Features:

- Self-contained, one-piece assembly
- A resistant element is laminated between two layers of aluminum foil
- The heater is ideally suited for area and surface heating applications
- Can be used with any temperature ranges below 650ºF
- Many configurations are available with or without cutouts
- Can be constructed as strip or blanket heaters.
- Aggressive adhesives provide a strong initial bond and ultimate bond
- More efficient heat transfer than heaters that do not make surface contact

Wattage: The maximum wattage is based on 3 watts/sq. inch of surface.

Voltage: Voltage is normally 120 or 240 volts. Lower voltages available.

Common applications: Battery warmers, cabinets, defrost applications, heated food tables, incubators, laboratory equipment, ceiling panels, and wall panels.

As always, please call us to speak with an engineer if you already know what you want, if you have technical questions, or simply need advice.

Foil Heaters are not availabe for online ordering due to the large amount of custom configurations requested. Call 866-685-4443 or email
