Screw Plug Immersion Heaters

Widely used in the process heat industry for a range of applications, screwplug heaters feature a broad selection of sizes, wattages, materials and NEMA electrical enclosures. Screw plug heaters may be threaded directly into a sufficient tank wall or used with a companion coupling (both measured by NPT size). For optimum performance of a screwplug heater- appropriate sheath material (Use our Immersion Heater Compatibility Guide to find the best sheath material per liquid), size, watt density, NEMA enclosure, and temperature control need to be selected.

Custom Screwplug heaters can be made with special wattage and voltage and a wide variety of sizes in as little as 5-10 working days depending on size and requirements of the heater.
